Keystone Detailed Description
Max Dercum founded Keystone in 1970 with the intention of building a hill that he could ski down with a smile on his face. He succeeded, and when you visit Keystone and ski down any one of the three peaks, you’re going to smile too!
There are many shops, world-class restaurants, lodging and activities in and around Keystone. You will find all you need at this luxurious resort. From golfing and mountain biking in the summer to skiing, snowboarding, and snowcat tours or cat-skiing in the winter.
Whether you’re an advanced skier or rider wanting to experience the pure powder of Independence Bowl, Keystone’s newest expert-only terrain, or are a beginner skier who wants to see what the back bowls look like from the safety of a snowcat, Keystone Adventure Tours at the top of the North Peak can give you a ride through the back bowls.
Keystone is located 90 miles west of Denver International Airport via I-70.
