The Canyons Detailed Description
The Canyons Resort caters to folks who really love to ski and snowboard and can appreciate how well their diverse terrain holds and protects an average annual 355 inch bounty of snow. Whether you visit as a family, a group or a single, you’ll find endless terrain for every style and ability. From long rolling runs to big bowls, to steep advanced runs with some aspen and pine tree skiing in the mix, you’re sure to find your level of skiing.
Besides the world class lodging facilities, The Canyons offers ten dining facilities on and off the mountain, six retail outlets, three rental shops, one repair shop, an amazing Ski & Snowboard School and a large concert forum in the center of The Village area.
The Canyons is easy to get to and just 35 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. Follow I-80 out of Salt Lake City and then take exit #145, Kimball Junction.
