Located in Colorado's most spectacular mountain range, Telluride provides guests with opportunities for hiking, biking and many off-roading trails to explore the terrain. The community is comprised of two distinct areas, the first being the historic town of Telluride, which is located at the base of the mountain and provides a broad range of food, music, dance, literature, art and special events. If pampering is a priority, this alpine escape is home to one of the world's finest spas.

The second accommodation area is Telluride Mountain Village, located mid-mountian this is the ultimate alpine retreat for visitors who want convenience, luxury and incredible scenery. Located at 9500 feet Mountain Village offers 92 acres of restaurants, shops and world class accommodations. In the summer months enjoy the 18-hole golf course, with its first tee at a stunning 9,300 feet.

Linking the town site of Telluride and the modern Mountain Village is a free gondola. The gondola is the only transportation system of its kind in North America. It runs from 7 am to midnight and makes the 20 minute, 8 mile drive between both towns into a visually stunning, 13 minute ride. Pets and mountain bikers are also welcome to use this free public mode of transportation to access designated hiking and biking trails on the mountain.
