The two mountain faces of Vance Creek and Putnam Creek each bring a variety of terrain. Vance Creek is known for some of the most immaculately groomed cruising runs anywhere. These sparsely populated slopes encompass what skiing is all about. Enjoy the wide open trails with plenty of room to stretch your legs, as well as scenic mountain views.

If Silver Star has a dark side it is Putnam Creek, packed with over 60 thrilling runs. If you are looking for deep powder, wicked diversity and advanced terrain consider yourself home. Serviced by the Powder Gulch High Speed Quad, many of the runs in this area are winch groomed nightly and reserved for expert riders only.

Every night of the week Silver Star’s focus on families shines through with free events such as fireworks, movie nights, torch light parades and live entertainment.
