The Kootenay Rockies are considered by many to be the best snowmobiling terrain in Canada. With endless amounts of trails, covered roads and on mountain powder, even the most advanced riders will find areas to challenge their skills. During the summer months many of these same trails are used for ATV tours.

Summer offers a range of activities such as Golfing at one of the more 25 major courses scattered throughout the Kootenay Region including Balfour, Greywolf and Trickle Creek Golf Course.
